hiQview HIQ-5389 is an outdoor dome camera, which is equipped with 1/2.7”  CMOS sensor and has an all-IP architecture. The built-in web server open platform provides remote users with the real time video through Internet browser.

l   Motorized 4.2X Optical Zoom

HIQ-5389 uses 2.8-12mm, 4.2X optical zoom lens. The zooming function of HIQ-5389 is Motorized 4.2X optical, which means the lens actually lengthens and shortens when zooming. By using an actual lens adjustment, the 4.2X optical zoom function could support HIQ-5389 to have more real and clearer images in high resolutions.

l   2-Megapixel high resolution

The images of HIQ-5389 can be compressed into two formats: H.264 and MJPEG. Multiple resolutions are available: 1920*1080 / 1280*720 / 640*480 / 320*240 / 176*144. Under Full HD resolution, HIQ-5389 can create supreme quality images: 30fps@1080p Real-time. Users can choose the suitable streaming format to meet different environmental conditions.

l   Clear images in bad light condition --- Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature of HIQ-5389 stands out in monitoring strong backlight or dim light environment. For example, if the camera faces the sun, and a man is standing in front of the camera, usually, because of the strong backlight, the man’s face would be too dark to identify. The WDR technology would use different exposures for different objects, making the light contrast much lower, and thus reveal the clear features of the man’s face.

l   The power of Digital Noise Reduction (DNR)

Image noise can be caused by many factors, such as power interference, heat, and dim light source, resulting in ineffective surveillance work. HIQ-5389 removes image noises by applying DNR technology. It not only makes clearer images, but also reduces video file size.

l   Night time monitoring

When the sun goes down, it is difficult for typical outdoor cameras to create any clear images. The built-in 12pcs High Power, 850nM of 15M light source IR LEDs enables creating clear images under bad light condition. HIQ-5389, an IR camera, is capable of generating valuable pictures in dark environments. IR technology can make it a powerful tool to identify essential elements at night, such as people and vehicles.

l   Sustainable in harsh outdoor environment

HIQ-5389 has a robust housing rated as IP66, meaning that it is water-proof and dust-proof and is reliable for monitoring outdoor environment.

Furthermore, HIQ-5389 has passed IK10 vandal-resistant test.

Because of the robust housing, HIQ-5389 could work properly even under any external vandalism attacks.

l   Network Deployment

The network deployment of HIQ-5389 is very simple. It provides the installation tool for searching for devices that are already connected to the Internet. This feature alleviates the inconvenience of complex network settings.

l   Power Over Ethernet (PoE) cuts cost sharply

PoE technology enables power and internet connection to be provided by the same cable. Therefore, not only that power outlets are no longer needed, but more importantly, the space to place the IP surveillance system is saved, and the cost is reduced sharply.
